The Lanka Metro Transit bus service, which launched in Colombo last month, conducted a trial run in Kandy today ahead of its planned expansion next year.
Deputy Minister of Transport Prasanna Gunasena said the run focused on selecting routes, bus specifications, and stop locations.
Key provincial officials, the Road Development Authority, Sri Lanka Police, and Kandy Municipal Council attended the session.
