The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has said that several parts of Colombo and immediate suburbs will be affected by a 24-hour water cut.
The water cut will run from 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 3rd to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, September 4th.
The NWSDB said that the water cut was due to essential maintenance at the Ambatale Plant that would improve service quality.
Outage areas
The outage will impact Nugegoda, Kohuwala, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Ratmalana, and Moratuwa.
It will also extend across Rawatawatta, Soysapura, Angulana, Indibedda, Katubedda, Kaldemulla, Modara, Koralawella, Egoda Uyana, and Katukurunda.
Additionally, key parts of Sethsiripaya, Kotikawatta-Mulleriyawa, and selected streets in Colombo 06 will also face the water cut.
