The second readings of the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution and the Judicature (Amendment) Bill will take place on September 24 and 25, the Parliament's Department of Communication said.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Business held today (September 10).
The Supreme Court is expected to issue a determination on the Bills to the Speaker of Parliament Jagath Wickramaratne soon, after hearing petitions against them earlier this month.
